Family Foundation Religious Freedom Report Card

The Family Foundation released their Religious Freedom Report Card for the 2020 Session of the General Assembly.

The grades are based on legislators’ votes to either support or undermine religious freedom in the commonwealth. The grades really show the how far left radical Democrats have pushed their entire Party.

Only one Democrat in the House managed to receive a score higher than 0%; Delegate Jenkins received a 9%. Over in the Senate, several Democrats avoided a 0%, but not Senator Deeds, who ran as the Democratic nominee for governor not too long ago as a centrist Democrat. What happened?

There are 14 Republicans in the House of Delegates who received an A+ grade for having a 100% score. They are Delegates Adams (Les), Batten, Bell, Byron, Cole (Mark), Cox, Freitas, Gilbert, LaRock, McGuire Poindexter, Ransome, Walker, and Wright. Delegates Davis and Coyner are the two Republicans with the lowest score.

Over on the State Senate side, 5 Republicans received an A+ grade for having a 100% score. They are Senators Chase, McDougle, Newman, Obenshain, and Peake. The lowest scoring Republican, once again, is Senator Vogel.
