McAuliffe Must Be Losing

If you’re explaining, then you’re losing.

Democrat nominee for governor Terry McAuliffe has a new ad out. It’s a response to his opponent Glenn Youngkin’s ad. Both are below.

First up is Youngkin’s ad hammering McAuliffe for saying “I don’t think parents should be telling schools what they should teach.”

And here’s Fast Terry’s response-

Out of context?” The context is accurately explained in the Youngkin ad. As governor, McAuliffe vetoed a parental notification bill. The result is we now have sexually explicit materials in public school libraries.

It is too bad for voters that McAuliffe’s ad doesn’t defend his veto. Parents should know more about why anyone would reject a bill that would notify parents about the happenings in their child’s school.

Glenn Youngkin is holding Terry McAuliffe accountable to McAuliffe’s actions as governor, which is the way elected office needs to work. If you are a parent and you believe you should be involved in the education of your child, then you need to vote for the Republican ticket.
