Among Republican House candidates, Jordan may be the most seasoned of any first time candidate. He is ready to serve on Day 1.

This seat was held by Republican Scott Lingamfelter until the 2017 surge of Democrat gains. This will be a tough seat for Republicans to win back. This district voted for Sen. Tim Kaine in 2018 and Hillary Clinton in 2016. But all politics is local and Jordan has made a name for himself in his Prince William County community and has a done great job pushing out a very professionally tailored message. If there are Republican pick-ups this November, then the 31st very well could be one of them.
