Carrie Coyner is the Republican nominee for Delegate in the 62nd House District.
This seat was held by Republican Riley Ingram since 1992. The seat is open with Ingram’s retirement, and with re-districting’s new lines which have greatly changed this district, this race is a reachable flip for Democrats. But Coyner is a solid candidate who already has good name-recognition as a former school board member. She has built a strong campaign team and has been very active with knocking doors.
