Absentee Voting For June Primary Begins Today

Today is the first day the Virginia Department of Elections will accept absentee ballot requests for the June 12th primary.

Please note that Virginia does not have early voting. Anyone who wishes to apply for an absentee ballot must meet one of the twenty possible reasons to be eligible. I suggest selecting reason 8A and then volunteering to work on Election Day for your favorite candidate or local Party unit.

Here is the link to download the Absentee Ballot Application. You can also vote in-person absentee (that name needs to be changed) starting today. The last day to request an absentee ballot for the June primary is June 5 and the last day to register or update your address for the June primary is May 21. But please don’t wait.

Republicans have a state-run primary on June 12 for US Senate nomination and for Congressional nomination in the 2nd, 4th, and 10th congressional districts.
