Rep. Adam Schiff’s hard-partisan response to the House Permanent Select Intelligence Committee’s memo on abuses by our Justice Department has been released. This one ain’t worth your eyesight. All anyone needs to read is just the first line;
The HPSCI Majority’s move to release to the House of Representatives its allegations against the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the Department of Justice is a transparent effort to undermine those agencies, the Special Counsel, and Congress’ investigations.
That’s not how an intelligence report begins.
The key part is the Democrats are stating, as fact, the intentions of others without any specific evidence to support their claim. This memo says “a transparent effort to undermine those agencies,” which is nothing more than an opinion, or judgement, long before any of the involved agencies have presented any conclusions. And it’s the very first line.
The whole memo is just a partisan hit piece. No links included because it is not worth your time.
The result of this partisan hit piece is the Democrats are creating too much of partisan divide for the intelligence community to do their jobs. We can’t trust anything that falls out of the mouth of the Democratic ranking member of the House Permanent Select Intelligence Committee and that is a big problem.
