Make America Great Again hats will make you a target on the ground and in the media. The left hates them. Really, really hates them. That’s the lesson from the recent story of a leftist activist who tried to agonize kids on the National Mall.
To the left it’s not just a hat; it’s a symbol of Hillary Clinton’s failed campaign. The radical left will tell you that the hat represents [fill in the blank with whatever -ism is currently being used]. But they are wrong. The hat is a campaign message from a successful campaign that drew contrast from Barack Obama’s idea of no borders, globalism, and European-centric style governments, or in other other words; socialism.
Free market capitalism is the best provider of social and economic justice. The left is jealous of what they don’t have so they think socialism will give away things to them while hard work is not important.
“It must be because I worked harder than everybody else. Let me tell you something – there are a whole bunch of hardworking people out there.” -Obama
“If you’ve got a business. you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen. ” -Obama
Then Clinton runs on the same ideas and loses to a message that America is exceptional and hard work and determination are keys to success. The left can’t handle this.
So there was violence on Inauguration Day.
There has been a lot of violence in cities, especially Portland.
There is an unprecedented amount of resistance to all things related to President Trump.
A republic can not survive if the losers of an election can not accept the results.
The latest case was over a high school kid in a Make America Great Again hat. The media got the story wrong. They tried to destroy a kid. A kid. Again, they tried to destroy a kid over the hat he wore. Unbelievable.
The left saw it as another chance to further their case against Trump. In destroying a kid, they were attacking Trump. Any chance the radical left has to fight a proxy war on Trump, they’ll take the opportunity, even if it destroys a kid.
Journalism in this country is dying. It is being replaced with radical activism that pretends to be journalism. And this specific case was fake news as a weapon.
It needs to stop. It’s just a hat and in America we can wear pro-America hats. No, the hat doesn’t represent the bad things the radical left wants it to represent.
Journalism needs a comeback. The day after Buzzfeed lied about Michael Cohen, probably to exact revenge on Trump for canceling Rep. Adam Schiff’s overseas flight, the media gets another story completely wrong. At least this time tweets were deleted, articles were retracted, and accounts were suspended. But not everyone is backing down. Some in the mainstream media refuse to admit they got it wrong. And this situation is becoming all too common. The radical left sees something that can be used against Trump, so never mind researching, they just run with it hard. That’s not journalism, that’s pure crap based on hatred.
None of this would have happened had the kid been a Cincinnati Reds hat.
Remember “love trumps hate?” Well, when will the radical left allow love to trump their own hatred of President Donald Trump?
It’s just a hat. Please respect the individual who wears it.
