In-Person Absentee Voting Begins Today

Starting today eligible voters can go to their local registrar’s office and vote In-Person Absentee. Please note that you must be a registered voter and you must qualify for absentee status. There are a number of reasons someone can qualify for this. We suggest selecting reason 8A and then volunteering to help out on Election Day in your community or in a neighboring community that needs people working the polls.

For more information from the Virginia Department of Elections, click on this link. Please check with your local registrar for times and locations before you head out. And don’t forget your picture ID.

Also, we need to change the name of “In-Person Absentee Voting.” Those words do not go together. But don’t let that distract you.

Vote!
